We’ve been busy working on some Expandly product updates to make multi-channel selling even easier this Christmas. And the biggest of them all? Expandly’s new direct integration with Royal Mail is now live. Let’s take a closer look.

Bulk print Royal Mail shipping labels

We did it! Expandly now directly integrates with Royal Mail to provide you with a reliable way to bulk print Royal Mail shipping labels and your Royal Mail manifest straight from your Expandly account.

To get started, head to the Manage Shipping Carriers page on Expandly, and follow the on-screen instructions to add your Royal Mail account details. Once entered, the connection will be approved within two working days, and we’ll even pop you an email you when you can get going.

Full instructions are here – just don’t forget to print your manifest before 11:30 pm each night.

Update products via CSV (easierly)

If you’re making bulk changes to your products this Christmas time (maybe you’re upping your prices or Christmas-fying your descriptions), we’ve made updating products via CSV even easier.

Now, you can create a custom product CSV containing only the product ID and the fields that you want to amend. Clearer, simpler and a lot easier.

Full instructions are right here

Add tax at variation level

For those variation sellers among you, you can now apply different tax rates at variation level. Perfect if you’re selling clothes that come in adult and child sizes or any other variations that attract different rates.

All you need to do is add the appropriate tax on the variation tab when creating or editing a product.

Extend the Xero invoice due date

Previously, invoices sent to Xero had a due date the same as the order date – great if the customer has already paid, but a little annoying if your customers don’t pay straight away.

Now, you can extend the invoice due date on the Configure Xero page, to stop those invoice overdue alerts on Xero.

Find out how, here

And that’s a wrap

Christmas has certainly come early with these updates. As always, we’re continually looking for ways to make Expandly better for you. Keep an eye out for future product updates on our eCommerce blog or over on social media

Happy selling!
