Sunday 09 July saw Expandly support Newport Pagnell Carnival – an annual event that provides an opportunity for the local community to raise awareness and funds for their chosen charities and causes.


Armed with little more than a paint brush, scissors and a ball of string, the team at Expandly set about decorating a rubber duck for entry into the ‘Big Duck Race’, which saw 20 local and national companies do the same.

Complete with goggle and a snorkel, Expandly duck was set and ready to head up the competition (along with its ducklings representing our integration with sales platforms Amazon, eBay and Etsy; shopping carts Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento; and other partners Xero and Royal Mail).

Unfortunately, he was more interested in explaining the cost-effectiveness of our end-to-end solution to his fellow swimmers, than racing towards the finish line. Oh well, there’s always next year!

Funds from the duck race all went directly back to Newport Pagnell Carnival, allowing them to continue the well-loved community event for years to come.
