eBay is inviting you to a four-week training boot camp and the best thing: it’s online and it’s free.

eBay is running its free online boot camp from 05 March 2018 (also the start of British Pie Week), for four weeks.

You’ll be covering the basics such as eBay best practices and buyer expectations, as well as more advanced topics such as inventory and demand insights. You will also be covering the Holy Grail: the perfect listing.

Lessons will be delivered in a weekly email, which will also include an assignment and top-tips, as well as ways to put it all into practice. Videos, blog posts and Seller Centre pages will all be used to deliver the content and can be accessed at a time to suit you and your business.

You will also gain access to your fellow students on the eBay Community boards in order to network, discuss and share knowledge.

How to get started

Simply head over to the sign-up page and you’re away! eBay requires you to commit two hours per week to the boot camp; a total of eight hours, plus any additional personal research.

Pitched as a way to jumpstart your sales and grow your business you’ll gain a deeper understanding of selling, from the people that know best.

Finding the time

We know that when running your own online e-commerce business, time is a luxury. You need to upload and edit listings, manage orders, create picking and packing lists, update your inventory, print shipping labels, update your reports and update your accountancy software; and this all takes time.

Multichannel management software handles all of this for you, automatically and from one central location. Meaning that you can save time (and dedicate it to the development of yourself and your business) and also meaning that you can add multiple marketplaces (Amazon and Etsy), alongside eBay and your shopping cart, without any additional strains on your time.

Sound off, 1, 2.
