Category Insights

  • Health Supplements: Normal EU ingredient regulations apply, and registrations are very quick; label must include dosage & health disclaimers, other instructions for use in German.
  • Beauty/Cosmetics: EU Cosmetics Reg. 1223/2009 applies; need EU Responsible Person and Product Information File (PIF).
  • Toys: CE mark + EN71 safety tests mandatory.
  • Electronics: WEEE registration for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) & CE and WEEE marking required.
  • Basic Goods: Simpler compliance, but still packaging/EPR obligations, packaging waste laws apply.
