Expandly Product Updates
July 2026
We’re dedicated to providing you with the latest Expandly feature updates including new integrations and platform developments; all undertaken to ensure you can remain competitive in the fast-paced world of ecommerce fulfillment and continue being able to use Expandly for your complete order fulfillment operations.
We rolled out several improvements in July to make Expandly easier to use, more transparent, and better connected across platforms. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:
Expandly AI Forecasts & Metrics
We’ve launched our first AI-powered page in Expandly. Using your order data alongside additional data from your Amazon account, it generates reports and forecasts, plus an AI assistant you can ask questions to explore your data in more detail.
Shipping Quotes
Shipping quotes can now be created directly within Expandly, rather than being submitted through a separate form. This gives you a smoother, more streamlined way to request shipping quotes without leaving the platform
Digital Product Passports
You can now generate a digital passport for your products, complete with a public-facing QR code. When scanned, this takes anyone to a public page showing key product information such as materials, recycling methods, certificates, and manufacturing location — great for transparency with your customers.
VAT Application Field Update
We’ve removed the Gross Expected Turnover field from the VAT application, simplifying the form and reducing the information you need to provide.
CSV Upload Errors Now Visible
If an error occurs while uploading a CSV file into Expandly, you’ll now be able to see and review it directly. Previously these errors weren’t shown, so this gives you much better visibility when something needs correcting.
VAT Application In-Progress Updates
If you’re waiting on a VAT number from a local tax authority, you’ll now receive a popup and email letting you know your application is still being processed. Some countries — Germany, for example — can take 8 to 12 weeks to issue a VAT number, so this keeps you reassured that your application hasn’t been forgotten and that we’ll update you as soon as we hear back.
Onboarding Module Completion Celebrations
Completing an onboarding module now triggers a popup (shown next time you log in) and an email confirming you’ve finished that step — a small but nice touch to mark your progress through onboarding.
VAT & EPR Certificates
Once your VAT and EPR setup is complete, you’ll now see a dedicated certificate showing all your registered countries and related numbers — similar to the existing RP certificate — giving you a clear visual summary of your compliance status.
